HARRISBURG, Pa. — A Northampton County man has been sentenced to up to 162 years in prison for having child pornography on his cell phone and sharing videos of child sexual abuse, officials announced.
Zebbelin Standish, 36, formerly of Easton, was sentenced Wednesday in Northampton County Court after a four-day trial in February in which he was convicted of 55 felony counts.
The charges were based on a state Attorney General Child Predator Section investigation that resulted in his 2022 arrest, Attorney General Michelle Henry said.
Authorities said Standish used the KIK social media application to share four child pornography videos.
A search of Standish’s cellphone revealed additional images and videos of child pornography, officials previously announced.
”This defendant re-victimized the children who were depicted being exploited and abused in the images by possessing and sharing the materials with others online. This case is another example of how social media can be used by predators and bad actors to harm children."Pennsylvania Attorney General Michelle Henry
The charges included 50 felony counts of possession of child pornography, four counts of dissemination of child pornography and criminal use of a communication facility.
He was sentenced to serve 81 to 162 years.
Judge Paula A. Roscioli said in court that she wanted to ensure Standish could never victimize another child.
”This defendant re-victimized the children who were depicted being exploited and abused in the images by possessing and sharing the materials with others online,” Henry said.
“This case is another example of how social media can be used by predators and bad actors to harm children.
"My office remains committed to intervening in those dangers and educating parents and families how to protect themselves.”
Senior Deputy Attorney General Michelle Laucella prosecuted the case.
