Family entertainment series returning to Lehigh Valley venue

The Jelly Bean Jam family series will return to Godfrey Daniels on Jan. 21

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Godfrey Daniels music venue in South Bethlehem has announced it will resume its family Jelly Bean Jam — Songs & Stories for All Ages series this month.

The series' shows, in which family shows featuring music, dance, puppetry, storytelling and other creative arts are held one Sunday afternoon each month, will kick off at 2 p.m. Jan. 21.

Sponsored by JustBorn Quality Confections, the Jelly Bean Jam series has an admission fee of $5.50, with children aged 5 and younger free. Godfrey Daniels is t 7 E. 4th St., Bethlehem

The headliner will be Two of a Kind, an award-winning duo of David and Jenny Heitler-Klevans. They are interactive children's music performers who perform music with humor and audience participation.

"Our songs are written out of great respect for children — their experiences, their sophistication, and their desire to explore big issues. Our goal is to provide quality music that speaks to children and adults, helping them become individuals who make a positive contribution to the world — all while having fun."

They incorporate elements such as songs, puppets, movement, and stories, and cover a range of themes from reading and books to friendship, animals and social issues such as the environment, conflict resolution and diversity.
