LehighValleyNews.com and PBS39 hosted a community conversation on interfaith relations amid the Israel-Hamas war. The program also contained advice on how to manage social media and speak to children about the unrest.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — "A Community Conversation: Mideast Crisis Hits Home" touches on interfaith relations, managing mental health and sifting through the waves of information — and misinformation — on social media.

PBS39 aired the program Thursday night. It was hosted by LehighValleyNews.com reporter Brittany Sweeney.

Guests included Rabbi Michael Singer of Congregation Brith Sholom in Bethlehem; Imam Yusuf Rios of Respect Mosque in Bethlehem; Lehigh University Professor Jeremy Littau; and psychologist Dennis Geiger, who is on the board of the National Alliance for Mental Illness Lehigh Valley.

The hourlong program was sponsored by Capital Blue Cross.
