Heads up! Here are 5 things you don't want to miss today

According to National Today, today is both national cookie exchange day and mathematics day. An acquaintance of mine made it her mission recently to bake more cookies than there are square feet in her apartment to give out to neighbors in her building, which involves both cookies and math. Last I checked, she and her roommate were up to 1,207 cookies from 33 batches. Go Shannon!

1. According to the National Weather Service in Mt. Holly, N.J. today will have rain pretty much all day, with a high of 46. The evening will warm up to a high of 53 degrees while continuing to rain and adding gusts of wind.

2. St. Luke's can now 3D print waterproof plastic casts in-house for kids with upper extremity breaks.

3. Northampton County bought 41 acres of land that will be designated as a new park.

4. An exhibit of expertly preserved human bodies (all of which were donated to science as ethically as possible) opened in Allentown.

5. For your daily dose of generally-boring-but-important-to-understand-and-therefore-well-reported (deep breath) news, I bring you: Lower Saucon township is considering changing their zoning process to approximately double the size of the Bethlehem Landfill.
