Heads up! Here are 5 things you don't want to miss today

Today we recognize changes in federal legislation that led to the nation’s first federal special education law with what the National Day Calendar calls #SpecialEducationDay.

In 1971, the Mills v. Board of Education decision said it was against the law to deny "exceptional children, including those with mental and learning disabilities, publicly funded educational opportunities."

1. We should expect a sunny day today with a high temp of 44 degrees, says the National Weather Service at Mt. Holly, NJ. Tonight it will get cloudy and rainy with a low of 33 degrees. Expect showers and a high of 56 degrees Saturday, which will clear up Saturday night. Sunday is predicted to be the sunnier, nicer day of the weekend, they say.

2. Allentown City Council is looking to replace Josh Siegel, who will leave council to represent the state's 22nd House District.

3. Carol Birks, Allentown School District's acting superintendent, wants to "reimagine Allentown."
