ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Longtime warrior Alan Jennings is retiring after more than 40 years as the leader of the CACLV.
After an extensive interview process, the board of directors announced Dawn Godshall will succeed Jennings in June.
At a virtual “meet and greet” on April 6, Godshall talked about her top priorities for the year ahead.
“One of the first things is that I want to make sure that our staff are well taken care of, that they know that we care about them, and we continue to make sure that the programs that we are running are as great and efficient as they can possibly be,” Godshall said.
She also hopes to continue working on the Color Outside the Lines initiative and build up the Lehigh Valley’s housing program.
CACLV’s mission is to improve the quality of life for underserved communities across the region.
The organization employs about 100 people and has a budget of about $30 million a year.
