BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Ozempic, Wagovy and other weight-loss drugs have made headlines for their effectiveness and success in controlling other health issues.
But are they all they’re cracked up to be?
PBS39 explores that tonight in “A Community Conversation: New Weight Loss Meds, Cure or Craze?”
Hosted by LehighValleyNews.com health and wellness reporter Brittany Sweeney, the hourlong program covers the emergence, efficacy and availability of GLP-1 drugs for weight loss and diabetes treatment.
It airs from 6 to 7 p.m. on PBS39 and streaming on the PBS39 website. The medications include Ozempic, Wagovy, Mounjaro and other brands.
The show features people who have used the medications and asks experts about them.
