ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Tom Stoudt is Director of the Lehigh Valley Northampton Airport Authority. He says they’ve adapted a whole new approach to sanitation to respond to the new normal.
“Something like this is not like anything we've dealt with in the past. We've certainly faced plenty of challenges but certainly nothing like this. So it's certainly been a learning experience for everyone,” says Stoudt.
Stoudt says they’re doing everything they can to ensure COVID-19 isn’t a carry on. Everything from mandatory masks, social distancing, to antiseptic pads on door handles and buttons.
Kyle Shadlack from Detroit, says this is the first week he’s back to flying for work.
“Most airlines are pretty good about keeping the middle row seat open. Most of the time it's so under booked I have an entire row to myself but there requiring I wear a mask and sanitizing all the services so it's pretty good,” said Shadlack.
