EASTON, Pa. — Backyard chickens have their champions in the Lehigh Valley. And the latest local government to consider opening the door to home egg production is Easton.
WLVR’s Brad Klein speaks with Easton reporter, Brian Myszkowski, who is on the ‘poultry beat’ for WLVR and LehighValleyNews.com. He attended a committee meeting Tuesday night at Easton’s City Hall on the subject of whether to allow home egg production in Easton. One passionate supporter, Carol Free is at the head of team poultry. Easton Health Administrator Joe Gill expressed some reservations.
