HARRISBURG, Pa. - Officials with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry say the passing of the latest stimulus bill is a step in the right direction for more than half million unemployed Pennsylvanians.
Meanwhile, L & I, along with the Department of Human Services and United Way of Pennsylvania are reminding those who are hurting financially that assistance is available.
DHS Secretary Teresa Miller is urging people to use these resources even if it’s just for a short period of time.

The United Way of PA’s 211 program offers a wide variety of resources for people who may need help with food, housing, utilities and other necessities.
