"Fest in Show" will air on PBS39 and stream at PBS39.org at 5:30 and 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2024. The program will preview some of the best free acts to see during Musikfest 2024, which begins Thursday night and runs through Sunday, Aug. 11.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — At Musikfest, the headliners get much of the attention. But there are literally hundreds of free shows spread across the city during the 11-day festival.

It all starts Thursday as Preview Night kicks off at the SteelStacks campus.

To get you ready and to plot out the next several days, PBS39 will air a special program at 5:30 p.m. and again at 11:30 p.m. tonight.

LehighValleyNews.com’s John J. Moser and ArtsQuest Chief Programming Director Patrick Brogan take a day-by-day look at some of the best free acts performing at Musikfest.

They’ll discuss the performers, the times and dates, and the platzes where you can catch the shows each day of Musikfest, which runs through Sunday, Aug. 11.

Brogan has led the assemblage of nearly 400 free shows this year and has accumulated a vast Rolodex of musical talent that has fueled Musikfest for years.
