New ArtsQuest event centered on a different beverage is brewing

A new event, The Cold Brew Hullabaloo, will be Sept. 15 in Musikfest Cafe at ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks in Bethlehem.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — SteelStacks is home to a bunch of beer activities at Musikfest, Oktoberfest and its new Spring Beer Fest.

Now, a new event centered on a different beverage is brewing.

ArtsQuest is soliciting vendors for The Cold Brew Hullabaloo, a new cold coffee convention set for 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 15 in Musikfest Café at ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks.

"Local coffee shops and roasteries will be bringing their finest (cold) brews for guests to sample and purchase. In addition to cold brew, there will be live music, retail vendors and free coffee- themed activities."

"ArtsQuest is pleased to invite the region's best coffee shops and roasters to bring their finest brews and beans to the first annual Cold Brew Hullabaloo," according to a vendor registration form on the SteelStacks website.

"Patrons will have a chance to taste your cold brew, purchase your retail offerings, and get to know you and your brand!"

The webpage says of the new festival that "local coffee shops and roasteries will be bringing their finest (cold) brews for guests to sample and purchase.

"In addition to cold brew, there will be live music, retail vendors and free coffee-themed activities."

Tickets to the event, at $10 for general admission through Sept. 8 and $13 afterward, are available on the event webpage.

General admission tickets allow access to the event from 12-3 p.m., a specially branded tote bag for shopping at the event and access to cash bar with themed drink specials.

VIP tickets, at $22 through Sept. 8 and $26 afterward, additionally include an hour early access, One Duck Donuts Quack Card good for one complimentary Duck Donut and a "handy-dandy coffee scoop" that doubles as a bag clip.

Duck Donuts is identified on the web page as a partner with the new event. No other participating vendors have been identified.
