ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Allentown Fair and Maingate Night Club will partner to bring two rock music shows during the fair, they announced.
The Four Horsemen: A Celebration of Metallica will perform 9-11 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30. Opening the show will be Lehigh Valley favorite Americana/country group Scott Marshall at 6 p.m.
And Strutter, which bills itself as the longest-running 1970s KISS show nationwide, will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31.

The fair will run Wednesday, Aug. 28, through Labor Day Monday, Sept. 2. For a limited time, $5 advance admission tickets are on sale at the Fair Box Office or the fair website at AllentownFair.com.
The Four Horsemen are based in Akron, Ohio. The band focuses on Metallica's first four, classic albums: "Kill 'Em All," "Ride the Lightning," "Master of Puppets" and "...And Justice For All."
"Fans deserve the highest quality reproduction of Metallica's records and shows," guitarist/vocalist Sean Perry says on the band's website. "That's why we're here."
Strutter, which has performed since 1980, says it offers "classic KISS tunes, fire breathing, blood spitting, smoking guitars, authentic costuming, full makeup, staging and special effects."
During Fair Week, Maingate Night Club also will offer The Boondock Barons and Band of Brothers on Aug. 28; Flirtin with the Mob on Aug. 29; and Social Call on Sept. 1.
