ALLENTOWN, Pa - A winter wonderland extravaganza is coming to town this weekend, just in time for holiday shopping.

  • A winter wonderland is coming to Allentown Nov. 26-27
  • There will be a 1962 red Chevy pickup truck and a vintage Lanta bus decked out for the season
  • There will also be more than 70 vendors selling everything from plants to new cars

There will also be carriage sleigh rides pulled by horses, a petting zoo, cuddly goats, and a hot chocolate and apple cider bar.

More than 70 vendors will be selling everything from crafts to new cars. Fresh-cut trees, poinsettias and homemade wreaths will also be available.

The entertainment portion features performers, presentations and carolers. In terms of family fun, there will be story time, a coloring contest and holiday-themed arts and crafts. For an additional fee, you can sign up for a flower arrangement class.

And of course, Christmas would not be complete without a visit from Santa, who’ll be available for pictures with people and pets alike.

When: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 26, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 27. Where: Allentown Fairgrounds, 302 N. 17th Street. Cost: $5 per person, discounted for veterans and seniors. Children under 12 are free.
